My husband & I were recently in the Outer Banks (staying @ Nags Head Inn). We flew to Ocracoke our 2nd day there & were picked up by Howard's Pub for a DELICIOUS lunch! Best seafood ever! Hey There Howard's !
We are coming back to visit the Outer Banks for Spring Break on March 27th. The first thing we are going to do is come to Howard's. We visit if we are lucky once a year and the thing we talk about the most is Howard's and your burgers. We are from Philly, PA. The place is a must see when you visit the island and the Carolina Burger you must eat ! See you all soon....we can't wait ! Jackie February 2010

Hey Howard, We were to Ocracoke for the first time this summer having vacationed in OBX for the past 4 summers or so. Touring with my wife, daughter, sister, mother and brother in law - we were hungry and not disappointed. Everyone in our party walked away saying it was the best burgers we have ever eaten, and we can't wait to come back again. Keep them cooking. Jim September 2009
Our first visit to Ocracoke Island was Thanksgiving week 2008. What a gem Howard's Pub is!!! We had such a blast and Emily was one of the best bartenders EVER....the Bloody Mary's were awesome! Cheryl November 29, 2008

This is the best place to eat on the Outer Banks!!! We love this place. John is our favorite waiter never a complaint. Tell Matt thanks for always being so kind. You all make us feel like family. The blackened tuna is absolutely wonderful. Our tag is hanging on your ceiling.

First time visit to your pub over Memorial day week-end---very busy island but we loved it and would like to return. Had dinner at your establishment -never stay up past 10:00 pm but your service and entertainment kept us there way past midnight. We are planning a return trip so we will be checking your calendar of events and in hopes Couch Potatoes will
be playing again. By the way, a great hamburger!!!!! Thank you

From Gary Mascelli on 14-Oct-2008 Howard's Pub is THE place to eat. Quick pick up in the golf cart, great service and the food outstanding. There are no services at the airport as stated. There is a new shelter/hut under construction so you can eventually wait in the shade. It was a nice ending to our four days in Nags Head, we'll be back to stay in Ocracoke on our next trip.
From Mark Lenox on 03-Jun-2008 All the good things everybody says about Howard's are true. The crab cakes are really outstanding, and it's an easy walk from the airport even if you have a hard time getting in touch with them for a ride. Go here, we had a great time and will definitely be back.

The food was good and we were impressed with how the transportation services were to/fro the airport/restaurant. Next time, we will just remember to bring our kite and two chairs for the beach :)!
From Fabio Sardone on 14-Apr-2008 Called just before shutting off engine I was picked up before I could have finished tie down the aircraft. Visited with family. Great place, nice atmosphere and exceptional food kids catered well. Beware that most of the wireless carrier do not have coverage on the Island. At the pub they were nice enough to let me use the phone for closing my flight plan and after 3 hours walk in the village they let me file a new one and get my WX update. Great stop. Thanks I will be back with friends.
Great Time @ Howard's Pub ...My husband and I, along w/another couple, ate at Howard's Pub on Saturday, April 28th. We had been
visiting the Outer Banks since the Thursday before,had eaten at different locations/restaurants, and decided that Howard's Pub was the BEST place we had eaten the whole weekend! My husband and I had the pulled BBQ pork sandwich, DELICIOUS! Our friends got a burger each and
said it was also great! The atmosphere was alot of fun and we enjoyed getting some souvenir
plastic cups to take home w/ us.
We plan on coming back to Ocracoke Island soon and will definitely be back to the Pub to enjoy some more good food!
Oh, hats off to one of your employees. I don't remember his name, but he was a young (teenage?) guy,
working behind the front register who helped us buy some t-shirts. He was very courteous and helpful,
we enjoyed talking w/him. thanks again , see ya soon!

We loved the food, the prices and the atmosphere ...
Chris, My family and I went to Howards this past July when we visited Ocracoke during our family vacation on Hatteras.
We loved the food, the prices and the atmosphere so much that about once a week,
I literally find myself saying," Wish I could go to Howards to eat."
I had the crab cake sandwich, which I would definately reccomend to anybody, whether they are a seafood fan or not.
I will definately be coming back to Howards in the future.

Hi, Just thinking about one of the best pubs in the world on a really shitty day here in dear old England.
Spent many a happy hour at Howards over the years, and can't wait to get back onto the OB.

They were there to pick us up a few minutes later ... I heard about Howard's Pub from a friend at work and decided to give them a try. We called them on the Ocracoke
CTAF when we entered the pattern and they were there to pick us up a few minutes later.

Howards linen napkins are the BEST!!!!
We are the WV gang who love coming to Howards!!!! We have brought our friends - all from WV and occasionally from other states and other parts of the world - and everyone LOVES coming to Howards. We remember coming here when Howards had no air conditioning and was a very small bar. We loved it then!!! It is our tradition and we wouldn't miss our ferry ride and our food fix at Howards. Thanks for being there for us. It's what coming to Ocracoke is all about!!! We hope the beaches will remain open for everyone. The experience of Howards and then Ocacoke beach is enough to make your head swim it is the ultimate. WE LOVE IT ALL SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH and we're from Almost Heaven - WV.
